Welcome!

My name is Kristina and I am a child of God, LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) wife, and mother to three amazing (and sometimes difficult) kids. My oldest has unique diagnoses and is considered special needs. When I was younger I had my life all planned out, and nothing turned out as I planned! And I wouldn’t change it for the world. Check out Our Story page for more details. These days I’m busy trying to balance my life as a stay at home mom, and a wife. At the same time trying to find the time to grow personally and spiritually. I get asked, “how do you do it?”.  I invite you to come along on this journey with me to find out.

Blogging about parenting a child with autism. Helping moms help their kids live their best lives.

Instagram post 2190214533078114545_7033157738 Where do you get books for your kids? 📖 📚
My kids love books. We have so many books and not enough bookcases to keep them in. And honestly when I’m out shopping I still look for new books.
One of my favorite ways to get books is bookroo.com

Have you heard of them? It’s a subscription box. You sign up and each month get books based on the age range you choose.
They are beautifully written and illustrated. And gift wrapped! I love that part because I can keep the books wrapped up and then gift them for birthdays or Christmas.

They are having a Cyber Monday sale! Click on the link in my bio and use code BF2019 to get 25% off on multi month subscription.

What books do your kids enjoy?

It’s the day before Thanksgiving and we have snow! So exciting. But it also means cold and wet outside and my kids as much as they love it don’t want to be out there for hours. ❄️ ⛄️ I created placemats and color pages to print out for them and color. My little ones have been coloring for 3 days now. There are 4 different designs so it keeps them interested. 📝 🖍
