Bible Verses for Encouragement

ADHD, Autism, mom life, Parenting

How are you feeling today, mama?

Are you feeling down?

Are things not going your way?

Is your baby sick?

Has your child regressed?

Are you having a hard time keeping up with housework?

With your scripture reading?

Maybe you haven’t connected with your spouse for a while?

Maybe you’re just tired?

Are you feeling discouraged?

encouragement for mom

I’ve been there. I feel like I’m there most days honestly. I will literally, cry out loud to God sometimes.

You and I don’t need to feel this way! GOD will meet us where we are! Be encouraged. Cry out to Him!

I want to share with you Bible verses that have helped me. I have these verses highlighted in my Bible. Some of them are written in my prayer journal. I even have them in my notes app on my phone.

These Bible verses for mom help me remember God’s promise. I hope they help you too.

He hears you

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord” Psalm 31:24

“When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.” Psalm 86:7

“Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:13,14

“I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” Psalms 116:1,2

He gives us strength

“It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” Psalm 18:32

“May the God of hope fill you with all  joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent, Lord my God, I will praise you forever.” Psalm 30:11-12

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

There is HOPE

“The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalms 121:7,8

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelations 21:4

Remember, He hears you, He can give you strength, and there is always hope in Him.

Some days, some weeks and maybe even months can be hard. But with God on our side, we will get through it.

Be blessed mama!

Welcome!

My name is Kristina and I am a child of God, LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) wife, and mother to three amazing (and sometimes difficult) kids. My oldest has unique diagnoses and is considered special needs. When I was younger I had my life all planned out, and nothing turned out as I planned! And I wouldn’t change it for the world. Check out Our Story page for more details. These days I’m busy trying to balance my life as a stay at home mom, and a wife. At the same time trying to find the time to grow personally and spiritually. I get asked, “how do you do it?”.  I invite you to come along on this journey with me to find out.
